Sergio Aguero

Chelsea have shown serious interest in Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero

The Blues want the Argentine to replace Spanish star Diego Costa. Diego Costa is ready to leave Chelsea for a return to Atletico Madrid

Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have reportedly registered their interest in Manchester City striker Striker Sergio Aguero.

The Blues are ready to make a mega move to bring the Argentine superstar to Stamford Bridge this summer. Chelsea want the 29-year-old Aguero to replace Spanish international Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.

Costa has made it publicthat he will be heading back to his former club Atletico Madrid after being told by Chelsea gaffer Antonio Conte that he is not needed anymore in London. Chelsea are still battling with the pains of missing out on a deal to sign Belgian international Romelu Lukaku, and the Blues are now turning their attention to Aguero.

Although, Sergio Aguero has three more years left on his contract at Manchester City, but lack of active playing times might force him to make a move to Chelsea.
